Chainsaw Man Episode 3 proves MAPPA studio has no cold

The Chainsaw guy is back at work this week, and if you head online, you’ll see Denji is trending as always. After all, the Devil Hunter joined the elite team of assassins, and his powers helped him face a terrifying demon on the screen. And of course, Studio MAPPA is taking over social media thanks to its awesome animations.

As you can see in the slides below, sections of Episode III of Chainsaw Man are going viral for all the right reasons. Denji drew his powers this week after a lull, and the bat demon never knew what hit her. Studio MAPPA put together an uphill fighting combat in Episode III, and their animation team spared no expense in Denji’s first field operation.

If you’re not familiar with Chainsaw Man, you can jump on the hype train now. Crunchyroll and Hulu stream the anime at the same time if you want to watch episodes 1 and 2. As for the manga, the series is ongoing under the leadership of Tatsuki Fujimoto, and new chapters are released weekly through Manga Plus or the Shonen Jump app.
